Privacy Policy

1. Overview & Data Minimization

Gliard Protocol ("we", "our", or "the software") is dedicated to preserving user privacy through radical data minimization. We operate strictly as non-custodial, open-source software. We do not sell, rent, monetize, or profile user data.

2. What We Process

Gliard only processes technical identifiers strictly necessary to enable peer-to-peer payment requests and token exchange intents:

  • Discord User IDs: Stored when you explicitly configure your payout wallet via the /walletset command. This links your Discord account to your chosen public address so other community members can route payments to you.
  • Public Blockchain Addresses: Public EVM (0x...) or Solana (base58) wallet addresses that you provide when registering your receiving address or creating a payment request.
  • Transaction Signatures & Hashes: Public blockchain transaction identifiers submitted to verify that payment requests or swaps have executed on-chain and to prevent replay attacks.
  • Request Parameters: Token symbols, designated amounts, and chain identifiers specified during /request, /send, or /swap interactions.

3. What We Never Collect

We enforce strict architectural boundaries to safeguard user privacy:

  • No Private Keys or Passwords: We never have access to, request, or store private keys, seed phrases, or wallet passwords. Transactions are signed solely inside your self-custody wallet.
  • No Personal Identifiable Information (PII): We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, government identification, or physical addresses.
  • No Message Reading: Gliard only receives interaction data for registered slash commands. The bot has no permission or technical mechanism to read, store, or monitor general server chat messages or direct messages.
  • No Tracking Cookies or Ad Trackers: The Gliard landing page and Web Signer do not use third-party advertising cookies, cross-site trackers, or telemetry SDKs.

4. Public Blockchain Transparency

Transactions confirmed on decentralized blockchains (Solana, Base, Arbitrum, Ethereum, Polygon) are publicly broadcast and permanently verifiable on immutable public ledgers. Anyone can inspect on-chain addresses, balances, and transfer histories using public block explorers. Gliard has no control over public blockchain ledgers.

5. Self-Serve Data Deletion

You retain full control over your saved information. You can permanently erase your linked public wallet addresses from our database at any time by executing the /walletremove command inside Discord. Once removed, your record is purged immediately.

6. Third-Party Integrations

When you interact with Gliard, certain interactions connect with external decentralized infrastructure:

  • Discord Inc.: Slash command interactions are mediated by the Discord Platform API and are subject to the Discord Privacy Policy.
  • Decentralized Liquidity Solvers: When requesting swap quotes, anonymous swap parameters (input token, output token, amount) are routed via public decentralized aggregators (including Li.Fi) without any attached user personal identification.
  • Public RPC Providers: Public blockchain nodes are queried solely to verify transaction inclusion and balances.

7. Contact

For inquiries, security disclosures, or protocol questions, you can contact maintainers via our official Discord community channels.
